Dear St. Johns Voter: 
I am grateful to be serving as your County Judge for the eighth year.  I was initially appointed by Governor Jeb Bush, then re-elected by popular vote. I bring 25 years of legal experience to the bench.  

My judicial experience has been in criminal and civil cases. I handle every type of case that is within the county court jurisdiction. Last year alone I handled over 10,000 cases. That’s right. Our County Court is incredibly busy, busier than any other in our judicial circuit. That’s why experience is so important.

I am the candidate with the most experience, not just in years but in the law.

As a lawyer for seventeen years, I handled cases involving businesses, banks, and insurance companies; real estate, corporations, contracts, probate, wills and trusts. As attorney for the Town of Hastings I dealt with government law, utilities, bonds, comprehensive plans, and employment issues. I did appellate work and was licensed to practice in all state courts, federal district court, and tax court.

 I am the only candidate who brings this depth of legal knowledge to the bench.

My training and practice have always been with AV rated law firms, where both ability and ethics matter. I run the courtroom with these standards in mind.  I strive to be fair, impartial and committed to justice.
